Man Accused of Impersonating Seattle Police Caught

SEATTLE --

U.S. Marshal's arrested Michael James Beach, the man accused of impersonating a police officer in Seattle in order to carjack several victims, in Beaverton, Oregon, on Tuesday afternoon, the Seattle Police Department said on its blog.

Beach allegedly carried out his crimes near Seattle University and even used fake credentials to try to ask one of his victims out , police said.

Police said Beach was unarmed and cooperative during his arrest in Oregon. They said he is expected to face fugitive charges once he's booked into a Portland, Oregon, jail.
