LAKE MARY, Fla --

A driver and two police officers were hospitalized after the driver tried to escape police, hitting two officers in the process, according to Lt. Biles with the Lake Mary Police Department.

He said that one officer approached the driver, Justin Bradley, at an ABC liquor store on Rinehart Road in Sanford. Bradley ran over the officer's foot and sent the officer tumbling over the hood of the car. Police then tried to block Bradley in a CVS parking lot, but he drove into oncoming traffic on Rinehart Road and struck a patrol car near Interstate 4, hitting a Lake Mary police sergeant.

Bradley and the two police officers were taken to South Seminole Hospital in Sanford with minor injuries. After he is released from the hospital, Bradley will be booked into the Seminole County Jail on pending charges.
