Southwest Miami-Dade, Fla. --

Miami-Dade police are searching for a person in connection with a police-involved shooting.

Detectives said Durall Miller should be considered armed and dangerous.

The call of shots fired came in late Friday night at the intersection of 134th Avenue and 260th Street in Southwest Miami-Dade County.

A police officer was hit with a bullet in the foot and was rushed to the hospital.

"One of our officers was injured in the police-involved shooting," said Miami-Dade Lt. Rosanna Cordero-Stutz. "He was transported to Baptist Hospital where he is in good condition; he had an injury to his foot."

Police arrested one person while a second remains on the run. Police said they're still investigating how the shooting started.

"I have no idea what the instigating factor was," said Cordero-Stutz. "I don't know if (officers) were responding to a call or if they just happened to come up on this due to part of their police work."
