Man Killed During Pennsylvania Standoff

Police shot and killed an armed man during a standoff at a mobile home park in Earl Township Wednesday morning, according to The Intelligencer Journal

The standoff began around 3 a.m. at the Green Acres Mobile Home Park on Linden Grove Road after 41-year-old Larry D. Marsh called 911 and told the dispatched that he wanted to commit suicide.

Marsh had an arrest record for kidnapping and robbery in Ohio and had a gun. Police and the Lancaster County Special Emergency Response Team responded to the scene.

Marsh also had gasoline and a torch and was leaving his trailer and going to a nearby shed during the standoff, the report said.

At approximately 4 a.m., a police officer fired at Marsh, killing him with a single shot.
