Fla. Officer Fails to Save Shooting Victim With CPR

Police arrested a 17-year-old boy Wednesday after another teen was shot and killed Tuesday night outside a bowling alley in Ocala.

OCALA, Fla. --

Police arrested a 17-year-old boy Wednesday after another teen was shot and killed Tuesday night outside a bowling alley in Ocala.

Investigators said an officer spotted a large crowd in the parking lot of AMF Galaxy Bowling Lanes before 11 p.m. The officer said he witnessed a fight in progress and heard gunshots as he approached the crowd of about 200.

The officer found Antonio Gordon Jr., 19, lying on the pavement with a gunshot wound. The officer performed CPR until a rescue crew rushed Gordon to Munore Regional Hospital.

Gordon was pronounced dead at the hospital.

Several witnesses told investigators that Marqalle Jordan Woolbright was involved in a fight that started with an argument inside the bowling alley.

After detectives interviewed Woolbright, he was charged with homicide and transported to the Department of Juvenile Justice.

The alley hold a $.99 bowling night each Tuesday, attracting a large crowd of young people.
