Milwaukee Police Officer Injured by Drunk Driver

A Milwaukee police officer was injured while directing traffic at a robbery scene.

MILWAUKEE --

A Milwaukee police officer was injured while directing traffic at a robbery scene.

The incident happened near 14th and Becher streets Saturday morning.

Officials said a vehicle hit the officer’s parked car while he was sitting in it.

He was transported to the hospital with minor injuries.

Police said the driver of the car was arrested for driving under the influence.
