Cincinnati Police Officer Arrested on Felony Charges

Cincinnati police announced Tuesday afternoon that one of their own has been arrested, charged with obstructing justice and unauthorized use of a computer.

CINCINNATI --

A member of the Cincinnati Police Department has been arrested.

Alvin Triggs was arrested by officers from the Regional Enforcement Narcotics Unit, according to a memo from city manager Milton Dohoney to the mayor and members of the City Council.

Triggs was charged with obstructing justice and unauthorized use of a computer, both felonies.

Police said the investigation was ongoing and the case would be presented to the Hamilton County grand jury in the coming days.

No other details about the case were immediately released.
