Ga. Officer Injured After Being Struck By Car

An Atlanta police officer is recovering after a car hit him on his motorcycle.

ATLANTA --

An Atlanta police officer is recovering after a car hit him on his motorcycle.

It happened Saturday night just outside the Georgia Dome.

Police said a car was making a left-hand turn collided with the officer’s motorcycle.

Investigators said the officer was rushed to Grady Memorial Hospital.

Police said the officer sustained a leg injury and is expected to be OK.

So far no charges have been filed.
