OMAHA, Neb. --

KETV NewsWatch 7 was on the scene as a police officer performed CPR on a man police said was suspected in a home invasion.

Shortly before 4 p.m., police said they were called to a home near 42nd and California streets for a suspected home invasion.

A woman in the house told police a strange man was inside. Police said they made an arrest moments after arriving.

But authorities said the suspect had some sort of seizure inside the police car, and officers quickly moved into a life-saving mode.

The man was rushed to the hospital in very critical condition, according to police.

People who were with the suspect prior to his arrest said the man may have been under the influence of an illegal drug.

The woman inside the home was not injured.
