WESTPORT, Conn. --
Police in Westport said two men, accused of taking more than $600 dollars worth of toothbrushes from a local CVS pharmacy, led police on a chase Saturday.
Investigators said patrol officers tried to stop a vehicle matching the suspect car and the driver took off.
Police said they were able to stop the vehicle on Pequot Avenue, and two men were arrested.
Investigators said Mark Adamo, 36, of New Haven was charged with larceny, and Roger Card, 35, also of New Haven was charged with two counts of larceny, operation with a suspended license, reckless driving, engaging police in pursuit, operating an unregistered vehicle and misuse of plates.
Police said both men were being held on bond.
