A Las Vegas Metro police officer suffered minor injuries on Wednesday during a training mishap at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

A Las Vegas Metro police officer suffered minor injuries on Wednesday during a training mishap at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

Authorities said the officer was in a vehicle that roller over at the track, but he was wearing a helmet and seat belt.

The officer, who hasn’t been identified, was taken to University Medical Center for treatment.
