Las Vegas Metro police said an officer used his car to stop a thief who made off with two cars Friday afternoon.

LAS VEGAS --

Las Vegas Metro police said an officer used his car to stop a thief who made off with two cars Friday afternoon.

Police said after a thief stole the first car, he stole a second one at the Eastside Cannery.

From there, a police officer chased the thief, using his car to pin the stolen car against a curb near Harmon Avenue and Nellis Boulevard, police said.

No one was injured, police said.
