The V930D and V9500D Series are turret, or “eyeball,” cameras featuring H.264/H.265 compression, wide-dynamic-range, IR LEDs and low-light capabilities. They can be surface, wall or ceiling mounted, are suitable for indoor and outdoor use, and offer extreme ease-of-installation and adjustment due to their innovative form factor.
Turret cameras offer the compact size, mounting flexibility and 360 degree range of camera domes, but with the ease-of-positioning and extended IR range of a bullet design. In addition, the lack of a clear dome housing improves image quality by eliminating the reflection of IR LEDs that can “bounce” off the inside of the dome and condensation that can form on the exterior. For retail and hospitality applications, where cameras are often ceiling or in-ceiling mounted, turrets offer aesthetics similar to dome models but easier access for positioning and maintenance. They are also affordable for installations that require large quantities for use throughout an entire facility.
