The AXIS 211 Network Camera from Axis Communications is designed to be used in high performance surveillance applications in markets including education, retail, transportation, healthcare and government. The AXIS 211 utilizes power over Ethernet, reducing installation costs and increasing security by consolidating the power source to a central location. The AXIS 211 contains a built-in Web server and Universal Plug and Play (UPnP) support for easy connection to a local network or the Internet. The AXIS 211 delivers real-time images or live video at up to 30 frames per second in full VGA (640x480) resolution. A progressive scan image sensor and varifocal DC-iris lens enables the camera to deliver superior image quality for both indoor and outdoor applications.
