GPS Fleet Management: Track Star’s New AVLS System
Track Star is proud to announce the release of the most recent version of our Track Star AVLS system which now provides our customers with FIPS compliance as well as operability with Band 14 FirstNet products. Enhancements to the features related to driver identification and to the web portal are also provided in this new release, available to all present users at no cost. Track Star AVLS provides full situational awareness of all aspects of law enforcement fleet operations in an entirely private, in-house software solution.
The native flexibility of the system is used to enhance officer safety while the power features contained in the system provide the toolset that empowers accountability and maximizes fleet efficiency. Unlimited historical data retention in an on-premise database provides a record set that is not only a powerful aid to the investigative process but also provides a documentable chain of custody for the records. FIPS compliance, found in this release, makes the transition of departments to CJIS compliance an easier task. Support of the emerging devices that operate on FirstNet / Band 14, such as the Sierra Wireless MP70 Pro, allow departments to make the transition to this service without having to change to a different AVL platform. This new release continues the long-standing Track Star tradition of providing our customers in the law enforcement community with an Affordable, Private, Powerful and Flexible solution that evolves in concert with technology.
