Daniels Electronics Ltd., announced at the International Wireless Communication Expo (IWCE) in Las Vegas, the introduction of its new P25 multi-site trunking solution using the Inter Sub System Interface (ISSI) protocol. Building on our existing P25 trunked system, the multi-site capability now enables Daniels to build small multi-site networks for Public Safety agencies or provide an open ISSI interface for end of the network and dead zone infill for large agency and state wide networks. Daniels is offering a solution that is complementary, for end of the network applications (our long established niche in the market) and small capacity infill where the Daniels advantage of low power, small size, low weight and rugged operation offer an advantage to use Daniels for these niche remote and difficult applications.
Announced at IWCE 2012, Daniels Electronics Ltd.'s new P25 Simulcast solution has been built on the P25 Voter announced last year, the P25 Simulcast solution allows a single P25 signal to be simultaneously broadcast using two or more geographically separated radio transmitters.
From Daniels Electronics, MR6B-X (pictured) and MR8B-R/B LED modules are ideally suited for use in directional warning solutions. These compact modules provide great versatility for a wide range of interior and exterior mounting options. All modules are sealed for external mounting applications. Multiple flash patterns built-in, synchronous on alternate operation. MR6B-X and MR8B-R/B meet SAE J595, J578, CLASS 1, and California Title XIII. Dimensions: 3.25 inches long, 1.25 inches wide, 1.1 inches deep. MR6B-X single colour LED light (available in Amber, Blue, Clear and Red). MR8B-R/B dual colour LED light, four red and four blue LED (flashes all Red or all Blue)
Daniels Electronics Ltd. has developed with Catalyst Communications Technologies, Inc. a second generation IP digital interface between the two companies’ products. This integrated second generation solution provides new features for Daniels and Catalyst customers including the P25 Unit ID, P25 Emergency Indicator, and satellite connectivity.
Daniels Electronics Ltd. and Telex Radio Dispatch, the Bosch-owned supplier of specialized IP-based radio dispatch consoles, portable and installed interoperability solutions and dispatch accessories, jointly announced the development of a P25 standards-compliant Digital Fixed Station Interface (DFSI) between their products, enabling direct digital connection from the Daniels LMR radio to Telex dispatch consoles, in accordance with the TIA P25 Fixed Station Interface (FSI) standard.
Daniels Electronics Ltd. and Zetron, Inc. jointly developed of a P25 Digital Ethernet Interface between their products, enabling direct digital connection from the Daniels P25 digital radio to the Zetron Acom Advanced Communication Console System in accordance with the TIA P25 Fixed Station Interface (FSI) standard. The Daniels digital Universal Interface card (UIC) provides a digital Ethernet connection from the Daniels MT-4 P25 radio system to other LMR subsystems such as IP-based dispatch consoles in a P25 network. In accordance with the TIA P25 general system model, this interface interconnects the Fixed Station (Daniels Radio) to a Console or RF subsystem at the Ef connection. The digital Ethernet Universal interface provides a digital audio signal directly to the console as well as a comprehensive suite of control signals allowing the dispatch console to see and manage all information associated with a call in an IP format.
Daniels Electronics has updated its solar panel package. Daniels now offers a compact solar panel package for use with its transportable radio repeater family or for use in any application requiring rapidly deployable DC power that is compact and easy to carry / set up.
The Daniels ET-5 provides the smallest footprint of any transportable P25 repeater supporting transparent encryption in VHF, UHF or 800 MHz bands. It operates with standard alkaline D-Cell batteries that are available at any retail store as well as rechargeable lead acid batteries. The Daniels Electronics ET-5 Tactical Repeater is specifically designed to meet the needs of body wire repeating for undercover operations and other surveillance operations where radio communications providing stealth, compact size for unobtrusiveness and rapid deployment are vital.
Daniels Electronics Ltd. enhanced its P25 Digital Fixed Station Interface (DFSI) in accordance with the TIA P25 Fixed Station Interface (FSI) standard. The enhanced offering broadens the suite of features offered within the scope of the DFSI standard for direct digital connection from the Daniels LMR radio to P25 dispatch consoles.
Daniels Electronics Ltd., in conjunction with Twisted Pair Solutions Inc., have made the Daniels Universal Interface Card (UIC), with the Twisted Pair Solutions WAVE application suite is commercially available, enabling digital integration between legacy radios, the PSTN, mobile phones, IP Phones, Windows PCs and APCO Project 25 (P25) two-way radio systems. This integration provides flexibility and low cost of ownership with a high level of interoperability. Public safety agencies no longer have to endure expensive gateway, router or radio upgrades to achieve interoperability within and across agencies.
