The environmental monitor provides the an effective means for collecting particles in outdoor or indoor environments to determine their biological composition in a laboratory. The sampling technique used in the ASAP System operates at a high flow rate of 200 l/min while consuming only about as much power as a dim 40-watt light bulb. The analyzer operates in a Hazmat restricted areea warm zones while its lightweight removable sampling module (SealR) lets the responder enter the hot zone. The unknown sample can then be contained within the Seal IR. Mutiple Seal IR modules can be used for simultaneous sampling when time is critical.
