Promi-Check

Available from CopQuest, the Promi-Check solution has been designed for field screening of BAC. While it is not designed for evidentiary disposition, it can be used as an investigative tool to confirm alcohol consumption. It functions under the principal that blood alcohol is dissipated through the lungs. A deep breath sample is taken from the test subject by blowing through a sterile mouthpiece. An audible signal on the device indicates when a good sample is complete. The backlit LCD displays the corresponding BAC in just seconds. Operation of the device is intuitive. It is powered by two AAA batteries, stores the last ten tests and is self-calibrating between each use. The solid-state sensor module lasts for 200 tests and can be easily replaced by the user. Individually-wrapped, single-use mouthpieces are available in bulk and comes with 12 mouthpieces and soft case.
