The Prometheus product line is available in a variety of models – each optimizing performance, price, and state-of-the-art technology for myriad uses and mission types. A solid state, uncooled LWIR handheld thermal imager built for day and night engagements, 24/7 mission capability is only one of the strengths of Prometheus. Unlike other devices requiring near-infrared illumination to augment Night Vision equipment, the Prometheus thermal imager is a passive sensor, emitting no visible light or RF energy, which makes it extremely difficult to detect with other devices.

The Prometheus-C is a solid state, uncooled, long-wave infrared, magnified, dedicated handheld thermal imager intended for day and night engagements. The thermal imaging technology allows you to detect targets by cutting through snow, dust, smoke, fog, haze, and other atmospheric obscurants. The Prometheus-C demonstrates its operational flexibility for all mission applications.

Its proprietary hyper-image processing (HIP) gives the Prometheus-C a robust library of software features to tailor the image to the needs of the mission. Plus, the operator can record video using the Digital Video Recorder (DVR) or augment the battery life by attaching to external battery options.

The Prometheus Pro is a high-performance, handheld thermal monocular that can withstand immersion in water up to 20 meters and absorb the most brutal environmental shocks. Putting the most advanced system available on the market today in the palm of your hand, it includes options like an electronic compass and inclinometer. Available in two thermal resolutions, Prometheus Pro gives users a choice between 50 or 100 mm lens options, creating a wide variety of optical magnifications and range performance capabilities. It also includes a unique dual battery option, so operators can use either four 3.0VDC 123A batteries or four 1.5VDC AA batteries pre-loaded in a cartridge.
