The Photonis Defense PD-PRO-16M is the lightest and smallest monocular night vision device on the market today. Utilizing the same 4G 16mm technology as the PD-PRO-16B binocular, the PD-PRO-16M provides outstanding performance in a package that is 58% smaller and 38% lighter than the industry standard A/N PVS-14. This system is ideal for navigation, map reading, and emergency situations because of its superior performance that improves situational awareness for the user. Every component in the PD-PRO-16M has been meticulously designed to maximize the performance of the 4G image intensifier tube and the maneuverability of the operator. An aerospace aluminum alloy housing makes the system environmentally resistant to an electromagnetic pulse, extreme heat, cold and salt. Each PD-PRO-16M device is water-resistant to industry-leading levels and features specialized objective lenses, utilizing German proprietary optical coatings, to take full advantage of the enhanced spectrum capability of the 4G tube.
