    Duratab USA Corp., introduces its rugged M3 Series tablet computer system designed to meet rugged reliability demands of the Law Enforcement, Fire/EMS, Industrial Controls and Military markets. Duratab's M3 Series tablet computer is housed in a 12 by 9.5 by 1.75-inch all-metal package with a 12-inch touchscreen display and features a powerful 1.6Ghz Pentium M processor, providing a full-function Windows XP or Vista-based computer system in a single, fully portable package. Weighing under 6 pounds with a fold-away carry handle, the M3 Series can instantly go from in-vheicle to fully portable field use. There are no remote or trunk-mount electronics, simplifying installation and giving the ability to transport the M3 computer as needed. The M3 utilizes a proprietary design to cool without the need for a fan, eliminating a source of noise and improving reliability while extending battery life to over 7 hours. Additional features include streaming video capability, wireless 802.11g, Bluetooth, or Zigbee interface, integral camera option and expanded USB and video ports to interface with peripherals.
