SVR Series

Falcon Electric Inc. adds five new models to its SVR Series of precision voltage regulators. The new 230Vac 1.5, 2.2, 3, 5 and 6kVA tower models join Falcon's popular 1kVA to 3kVA rackmount systems. The addition of these new models gives users a full spectrum of either rack or tower configured regulators to meet their precise requirements.The need for precise voltage regulation has significantly increased due to the proliferation of digital equipment in networking environments. Transients, regulation problems, surges, brownouts and generator frequency shifts can damage computers, laboratory equipment, test and measurement systems and other sensitive electronics. Acting as a solid-state generator, the new SVR regenerates new AC power from the utility and supplies connected equipment with clean problem-free power. Due to the SVR's unique design, the units can also perform 50/60 Hertz frequency conversion for worldwide 230-volt applications in a compact 20-pound package (1.5kVA unit).
