Custom designed for public safety, it employs one of the smallest transmitters available at just over 2 inches in length.
KT24 provides audio clarity and can be synchronized with any KT24 receiver and allows up to 40 users to operate in one area without interference. The KT24 transmitter has "in use" and "low battery" light indicators as well as built-in audio detection for out of range indication ensuring continuous operation. Its rechargeable battery allows up to 12 hours of talk time and 20 plus days of standby time. The transmitter has a unique "panic button" which lets law enforcement personnel gain a serious advantage. It can be programmed to open a K-9 unit door, turn on lights or another external cue with the touch of a button.
