Vip dispatch console upgrades

Aug. 20, 2007
M/A-Com upgrades its VIP dispatch console, which now features patch, simulselect and emergency declaration capabilities, which are packaged in a state-of-the-art desktop navigation system enabling administrators to easily manage up to four talk paths simultaneously. With end-to-end IP and end-to-end encryption of the dispatch console, the voice communications through the console are secure even if the computer system is operating in a non-secured network. Other enhancements include the ability for administrators to declare or clear an emergency from the VIP console, the ability to receive multiple, unsolicited individual calls simultaneously, and the ability to support both TDMA OpenSky systems as well as P25 systems. In addition, the new system offers a customizable call history display and a fully integrated replay feature that instantly plays back calls with the click of a mouse.
