Members of the San Joaquin County Sheriff’s Office are paying it forward to a retired deputy, who is also a Vietnam veteran. Marr Urrutia’s fence blew over during an October windstorm. When the sheriff’s office found out, deputies decided to pitch in and help. Urrutia served two tours in Vietnam and later joined the National Guard and the sheriff’s office.
