N-ear

N-ear has become a trusted brand name in law enforcement. Discrete, superior audio earpieces that are so comfortable, you can’t tell your wearing anything at all. Along with superior earpieces, N-ear’s customer service is a worldwide industry best.

After attending years of APCO international trade shows, meeting with hundreds of 911 operators, N-ear will be launching their New Dispatch Headset designed specifically for dispatchers at APCO on Aug. 6, 2024 in Nashville during the annual tradeshow. The New N-ear 360 Boom™ is a game changer for dispatchers. The N-ear 360 Boom plugs directly into existing dispatch quick disconnect system. This new headset has a 3.5 mm audio connection to plug any N-ear 360 Series Earpiece into the headset. The headset, true to N-ear’s trademark 360 earpieces, is virtually invisible and feel like you’re wearing nothing at all. Light weight design that wraps around the back of the neckline making it very comfortable and very discrete.

The boom mic. is premium quality and can be worn on the left or right side of the head. Users can use a single or dual N-ear 360 earpiece. So comfortable, you can hold a phone up to your head on the same side as the N-ear 360 earpiece.

The New N-ear 360 Boom can plug directly into multiple PTT (Push-To-Talk) solutions including our highly sought after Choice™ PTT with connectors to plug into any radio model. Wireless PTT options are also available.

Verco Materials

Verco Materials originated as a spin-off of high-performance boron carbide technology developed at the Georgia Institute of Technology. After a number of years of DOD-supported (Army Research Laboratory, Army Natick, NavAir, DARPA) development, they are pleased to offer a unique product for rifle protection of US law enforcement personnel.

The armor is based on an imbricated (nested together) pattern of carbon fiber-wrapped VercoB₄C™ tiles, encapsulated with and backed by layers of soft ballistic fabric. Their technologies are backed by numerous US and international patents, rigorous testing at nationally-certified ballistics laboratories, and NIJ Level III certification.

The armor, which draws into and molds to the body, is remarkably comfortable, permits freedom of movement, shows enhanced multi-hit capabilities, and has customizable, extended and continuous coverage options.

Recently, they’ve adapted the technology to develop a rollable, quick deployable, lightweight rifle shield. Multi-hit capable against M80, M43, and M855 threats, it can be stored or slung in a small, discrete rolled footprint, easily deployed when needed.

Every individual in law enforcement has a different role to play. For Verco’s armor systems, any size, coverage, and design can be custom-made to the measurements and needs of each member of the law enforcement team.

Their products are manufactured in the heart of Atlanta, Georgia.

Beretta

Everyday policing by law enforcement officers is no small task. Operating within their community, they apply significant training and situational awareness to make the best decision in any given situation. Beretta products provide the required safety, reliability, and confidence to operate in this context.

We believe the individual law enforcement officer is the ultimate system; integrating training, knowledge and technology to successfully perform the mission. Our mission is to provide officers with the solutions needed to improve lethality, survivability, mobility, situational awareness, sustainability, training and overall mission success, current and future.

Beretta, the world’s oldest and largest manufacturer of small arms, is a long-term partner of many international defense and law enforcement agencies. Beretta Law Enforcement products include the APX A1 pistol, 1301 Tactical shotgun, A300 Patrol shotgun, Sako and Tikka rifles. The M9 remains one on the most iconic pistols in the world.

Today, under the leadership of the Beretta family, the Company embarks on the 3rd Millennium with the benefit of centuries of experience. That experience, combined with investments in technology, organization, and growing product lines, has prepared Beretta for the demands of the global market of the 21st century. Quality Without Compromise. This core value of total commitment to quality was established by Bartolomeo Beretta almost five centuries ago and continues to be the bedrock of our Company today. As a crucial part of our Mission, it remains the unchanging key to Beretta’s worldwide success.

VirTra

VirTra provides law enforcement agencies with immersive training simulators to deliver a lifelike experience that is transferrable to the field. Each simulated scenario covers vital topics such as active threats, de-escalation, mental illness, and more. VirTra’s simulators are used in 40 countries – this includes the associated hardware such as drop-in recoil kits, less-lethal tools, and consequence feedback devices.

VirTra’s goal is to ensure that the officers who serve and protect our communities go home safely each night. By training in a realistic environment that evokes an adrenaline response and prepares them for split-second decisions, law enforcement officers can feel more confident in their skills. In turn, the community will be safer and feel greater trust in those who serve and protect them.

To ensure immersion and skill transfer, video-based scenarios are filmed with professional equipment and reviewed by subject matter experts before they reach an agency’s simulator. The content goes beyond a simple ‘shoot-don’t-shoot’ concept. Each scenario has an average of 85 branching options – most of which do not involve the officer using deadly force. There are options to verbally de-escalate, and the on-screen character will respond according to the officer’s words and actions.

Officers also have access to a marksmanship program with real-world ballistics. It is easy for instructors to set up their own custom simulated range where everything from the targets to weather conditions can be adjusted. With recoil kits installed in officers’ duty weapons and accurate ballistics, it is the perfect supplement to live fire training.
