This is an intense hands-on course that will arm you with the tactical and officer survival skills for a variety of street level drug enforcement situations. Simunitions and paint guns will be used during a number of hands-on scenarios. Exercises will include buy/bust and sting operations, building entries and searches, subject takedowns and more. You will also practice valuable survival skills like weapon retention, weapon take-back, edged weapon defense, stuns and distractors.

K-9 Down is a highly specialized program designed for professional working dog handlers and emergency rescue personnel - anyone who may respond to canine health emergencies in the field. The course is tailored for police officers, firefighters, medics, search and rescue teams, military dog handlers or other canine handlers with specialized training. A series of lectures are presented the first day on topics ranging from the normal canine physical exam to toxicities and heat exhaustion.

Each graduate will gain a complete understanding of the design theory, nomenclature, dynamics, compatibility, interchangeability, detailed disassembly, assembly, maintenance and trouble-shooting of the M/16-AR/15 family of weapons including rifles, carbines, and sub-machine guns. Graduates will receive a 3 year Colt’s Law Enforcement Rifle/Carbine/SMG Armorer certification.
