The Most Important Week of the Year

How would you want your family treated if it happened to you?

If your family has never received that dreaded middle of the night phone call about a shooting, you are blessed. Mine, unfortunately, did get that call. I survived, but the incident’s aftermath took a toll on my family’s life. Since it happened years ago, there was no counseling or support group we could turn to. Thankfully, we made our way through it after years of trying to get it right.

National Police Week is the most important week of the year. You chose to be a cop; you chose to live the life. Please consider giving back to those who can no longer give back themselves. Get involved. Come to Washington, D.C. if you can. Donate your time and money. It’s the best investment you will ever make.

Stay safe, Brothers and Sisters!
