In 2006, a few researchers from an award-winning group at Brno University of Technology seized an opportunity to fulfill a customer's request that was beyond the research team's capacities. Phonexia was founded and a journey was started to deliver cutting-edge speech and voice biometrics technologies to a growing number of customers.
Nowadays, Phonexia founders and owners are still very active at the university, teaching new students and cooperating with research groups to further improve speech and voice recognition solutions.
