“The Duncanville Police Department is holding an entry level Police Civil Service exam on Saturday, January 27, 2018. Individuals interested in a rewarding career in Law Enforcement, one in which they can make a difference in the lives of people, are urged to fill out an interest card to be eligible for the civil service exam. The Duncanville Police Department offers lateral transfers for certified officers, and a sign on bonus of $3,500 for those with previous experience.  A sign on bonus of $2,500 is offered to successful applicants who have no prior law enforcement experience.  Those interested in working for the Duncanville Police Department, an inclusive civil service department, must submit an interest card by 3 pm on January 19 to be eligible for the exam on January 27.
