Chester, Connecticut, June 29, 2018 —Whelen Engineering announced today the release of the Ceridian Series, a new lightbar family featuring an all-new low profile design and a multitude of unique features and options for optimal versatility. Models are in production.
Features
Ceridian Series lightbars are available in SOLO™ (single color), DUO™ (two color), or TRIO™ (three color) models. Multiple LED technologies are available for high-performance versatility. Models are also available in WeCan® or high current.
Hard-coated lenses minimize environmental damage from sand, salt, sun, and road chemicals, while Advanced Thermal Design improves LED performance during extended operation.
Lighthead modules mount in any position, and the sleek, newly designed mounting foot compliments lightbar design. Clear outer domes come standard.
CP Series models feature BroadBand Blue™ technology. Broadband Blue delivers a higher intensity, creates a larger optical image, and produces a more consistent color, all while being easier on the eyes —especially at night.
All models are designed to meet SAE Class 1 and California Title XIII when properly configured. Models are also designed to meet IP65 standards and meet SAE J1113/CISPR 25 and R10 standards.
Models are available in 12 or 24 VDC and in standard lengths of 42” (107cm), 48” (122cm), and 54” (137cm).
Options
Many options are available for the Ceridian Series, including Smoked domes and Clear domes with colored tops, Traffic Advisor™, and single LED precision focused take-down and alley lights. Red, Blue, or Amber internal filters are also available.
Warranty
Ceridian Series lightbars are offered with a five year warranty.
