Michigan Sheriff's K-9 Tracks Down Suspect Fleeing Home

A man wanted on an outstanding felony warrant was arrested Wednesday trying to flee out the back of a Comstock Township home.

KALAMAZOO COUNTY, Michigan -- A man wanted on an outstanding felony warrant was arrested Wednesday trying to flee out the back of a Comstock Township home.

A sheriff’s K-9 team prevented the suspect from getting away.

The incident happened around 8 p.m. in the 600 block of Pickard Street.

Police used a search warrant at the home and found suspected crystal methamphetamine, packaging materials and scales.

The suspect was arrested on the outstanding warrant with additional charges expected. A second suspect was arrested on an unrelated outstanding warrant and also taken to the Kalamazoo County Jail.
