Haub says one of the difficult parts of the diet he learned over time was the lack of variety in his foods. Most packaged foods he ate were sold off the shelf or out of a vending machine, and were room temperature when eaten. Now that the experiment is over though, those foods haven't lost their appeal. 'I still like them and I still eat them on occasion,' he says. 'But I also love peaches, I love a good apple, I love celery. So I've added those back in.'
