A Texas police officer was found unresponsive under an interstate overpass Tuesday due to a possible medical issue.
The Beaumont police officer was discovered beneath an Interstate 10 overpass by a bystander, who called 9-1-1, KBMT-TV reports. When medics and other officers reached the scene, they found the officer unresponsive in his vehicle.
The officer was rushed to the hospital and was being treated for a possible medical emergency. He was undergoing tests, and he was alert.
