The annual Officer Station Design Awards is a valuable source of ideas and innovations for law enforcement primary influencers and governing bodies.

Projects must have been built after Jan 1, 2019. Judges have requested only completed projects be submitted, as renderings are subject to change during approvals, budget adjustments and final construction.
The awards will recognize superlative work in five categories:
• LE Facilities I - More than 50,000 sq. ft. facilities staffing law enforcement personnel. Includes stand-alone police stations, sheriffs' departments or state police facilities, etc.
• LE Facilities II - Less than 50,000 sq. ft. facilities staffing law enforcement personnel. Includes stand-alone police stations, sheriffs' departments or state police facilities, etc.
• LE Facilities III - Less than 25,000 -sq. ft. facilities - police, sheriffs, state police, or other LE agency, etc.
• Public Safety Centers - 911 dispatch centers, emergency operations centers, etc. as standalone LE or combined with other agencies or organizations such as fire or local government offices.
• Training Facilities - LE or shared training facilities including Classrooms, firing ranges, sim villages, tracks, etc.
Entry Form Due September 8, 2023
A completed, signed entry form for each portfolio must be received prior to judging
Portfolio Due September 15, 2023
On receipt of your entry form, instructions will be emailed to you for assembling your portfolio. These instructions will include a Project Data Sheet and a Checklist with instructions and tips, as well as instructions on required photos and space plans. Portfolio information and all materials should be uploaded per instructions.
If your project is selected for a citation or as an outstanding building, the materials submitted in your portfolio will be used to create your project's page(s) in the magazine. Portfolios should be of a quality suitable for judging and publication. OFFICER Magazine reserves the right to reject those portfolios deemed not acceptable for publication.

Step 1: Complete and sign the entry form
It’s easy to get started! Simply tell us your method of payment below and fill out the entry form. Please be sure to digitally sign the form before you submit it. Once we receive your entry form we will send you an e-mail outlining the requirements and materials we need to complete Step 2.
Step 2: Follow the instructions we will send you to submit the following:
1) Project Data Sheet
Must be concise and include clear project essentials.(300 words max)
2) Space Plan
One overall site plan
One floor plan for each level or story of the building
3) Photographs (Maximum 12 photos and may be used for publication and promotion.)
Photos must be 300 dpi minimum
Include one overall exterior photo depicting nature of facility
Include a minimum of three exterior photos
Include a minimum of four interior photos
