HIALEAH, Fla. --

An unmarked police car that was stolen in Hialeah has been recovered.

The vehicle was parked in front of a Flanigan's restaurant on West 84th Street.

The officer discovered his car was missing after he left a security shift at 4 a.m. Friday.

The officer left his ID, badge and several weapons inside, but when the car was recovered everything was still inside.

Police have not said if they have any suspects because the investigation is ongoing.

To bad it wasn't a bait car, I'd love to see the OH!! ZHIT!! factor when they discovered they stole an undercover car. That had to be classic...
