gas prices are one of the reasons cops are getting so little pay. Something is totally wrong in this world.

GAS PRICES
THIS GAS PROBLEM IS WORLD WIDE, BUT YOU HAVE TO LOOK OUT FOR THE SAFEY OF THE PEOPLE AND PLACES THAT EVERY OFFICER PATROLS. ISSUING STATEMENTS LIKE THIS IN NEWS PAPERS AND OTHER SOURCES, IS LIKE INVITING CRIMINALS TO GO OUT AND DO AS MUCH DAMAGE AS POSSIBLE.... CAUSE THEY KNOW THAT THE POLICE ARE CUTTING BACK ON PATROLS!

Maybe some police unions should publicly withdraw their support for the liberal politicians they have helped elect who refuse to drill in Anwar, the Gulf of Mexico, and other locations in the US. We all know we have to reduce our independence on foreign oil, and the way to do that is drill for our own NOW.

Gas is a rediculous reason to cut patrols, if anything patrols should be greater for those who steal gas. More enforcement is deffinately needed! My thought is, why don't we use our own sources? That's another subject. Here in FL, our problem is the property taxes that changed. It's all political bull crap!

I say the state puts a fuel tax on citations... That way anyone who recieves a citation can also help pay for the fuel!

When this happens, the Fed's need to step in and offer some financial help to agencies! After all, our job truly is "Homeland Security". I'm curious if military is cutting back on patrol's in the bad sandy places because of this gas situation too?
