Recession Breeding Bank Robbers

it is juat so said to hear this happening at an alarming rate. people that have always had respect and have always been law-aibiding and have respeact for the laws of our land. Now we are all in bad times and eveyone is suffering and all of a sudden, we are in dire need to keep a rood over our head, food in our familys belly, keep the utilities on, gas in the car, pay the numerous amounts of debt( which by the way some debt that just freely comes to us for which we didnt create, some debt just comes, like getting a traffice ticket or being audit by the IRS.) anyways i really sypathize for those that have led a humble life, and then reduced to misery and pain overnight. it sucks ten-fold. And sure i wont blame the ex-administration for leaving us in a mess. I have faith in our Obama Administration for getting us all, and i mean all us Americans out of this mess. Will take time, but patience is a virtue. Be strong, Be wise,Stay humble! God Bless us All

Faith in Obama. I have lots of faith in him, like faith that he is destroying the country. Faith that he has sold America down the river since day one. Faith that he BOWED like a dog to the leader of another country. Faith that he lets Hugo Chavez and Danny Ortega bash our country without so much as a word.

It's sad that Obama mortgaged our country away to save big business. If he had given that money to the people the economy would have rebounded immediately. You give me 100,000. I pay off my bills and buy a car, or two. My wife does the same. More open credit, more available money to buy stuff a month, more money into retailers. more money into big business. Natural capitalism in economics. Not socialism that is killing the very essence of my country.

Cops don't let Cops vote democrat.

First, I dont believe this article as the guy from Pittsburgh who killed three cops was a POS scumbag before this recession ever hit. Its just becoming and excuse for criminals to blame the economy. There's plenty of social programs like unemployment and welfare from the state and federal govt., there's no reason to be robbing banks.

Also, to respond to the comments of Obama bowing to Chavez and Ortega, I recall very distinctly Bush bowing to the Saudi King when we were getting raked over the coals for gas. I also recall Bush not re-upping the Assault Weapons Ban after it expired. Atleast Obama is giving federal money to law enforcement agencies to hire more cops, though I will admit democrats should be harder on criminals.

First of all, I do blame the last administration for the mess we are in plus Ronald Reagan's deregulation of the economy 29 years ago. It gave Corporate America all the power it needed to have things their way.

Secondly, 4 years after the Great Depression crash, the American public ran out of patience and vote Franklin Roosevelt in, and he gave the American workers a new deal plus restrictions on Corporate America. The business leaders still hate FDR today.

Thirdly, we don't treat white collar, corporate crime and government corruption with the same zeal we do for street criminals. The Singapore government has an agency called the Corrupt Practice Investigation Bureau that deals with all public and private sector corruption without interference from politicans and business leaders. If we had such an organization and honest government leaders, the scandels we have would have been prevent. We also let corporations re-write all our laws where the peopl have no redress and the corporations make sure that they have pro-business judges on the bench.

Fourth, I also blame both political parties for letting this economic mess happen because they are in the pockets of Corporate America.

Fifth, I blame the business leaders of America. They knew what exactly what they were doing, and the American media jump on their bandwagon because they were owned by the very same corporations. CNBC Mad Money's Jim Cramer was grilled by Jon Stewart on the John Stewart Show regarding the financial mess, and Mr. Cramer was smack down by Mr. Stewart real good.

I don't think Obama has done much of anything lately. He and his cabinet officials seem to blink everytime Corporate America fights back. Obama is not going to get any cooperation from Corporate America and the Republican Party. They are going to suck this country dry.

It is about time America adopt the ecomonic model of Sweden, Finland, Germany, Denmark, and other European countries. This is long, long, long overdue.

Recessions do not breed robbers, people rob because they choose to.

Obama didn't start the bailout and didn't cause this recession. Bankers who handed out debt like it was candy did. they all benefitted, huge bonuses that would make your cop pay look like a joke. The govt. allowed this because bankers lobbied for them to do it. Save your anger for them, the responsibilty is at their feet and the press and the public let them get away with it. Look as one ex banker said, "the easiest way to rob a bank isn't with a gun, it's to own it."
