Protection for President Obama Proves Daunting

I saw patches on eBay commemorating the Security/Law Enforcement who will participate
at the inauguration. Looked very nice.

Hope he stays safe although I am fairly conservative. I just wish constituents would have voted for Obama's issues and not his skin color. That played too much of a role this time around.

The USSS can't even protect POTUS Bush from shoes!!! What are they going to do for Obama??? The USSS needs to be re thought and let Diplomatic Security at STATE take over!

I would love to be part of President Obama's Protective detail for a couple of reasons 1) Protect the first black president of the USA, a detail with historical implications. 2) A challenging detail where all your training will have to come into play due to the nature of the detail, racial hatred being an added dimenssion/threat to this detail.

Congratulations to Obama, he is in fact making history. I think he will do an OK job (its Nancy Palosi we have to worry about). I would not want a Secret Service job!!! I dont think the USSS should protect Michelle Obama unitl she apologizes to the nation for the "Hate Papers" she wrote and starts to wear an American Flag pin on her clothes! I bet the security for President Bush, Jr. was daunting. He was Corporate America's boy and I bet you they did not want anything to happen to him during his two term presidency.

Finally our country has a president that really cares about serving the people and actually wants to listen to what they need and want. About time. It would be really nice if congress would help him solve the problems which they created to bring our country down. Let's work together for our country before it's too late.
