weapons
OH Oh!!! We had better push for strict weapon control laws for lipsticks, hospital trays, steering wheel colums, as well as cell phones!! perhaps a "one lipstick a month or a one cell phone a month law will help stop the use of these items as weapons???

No wait --it didnt work for guns, gun laws only disarmed the law abiders-not the criminals who dont give a d*** about gun laws, I suppose it wouldnt work for other weapons either.

( Too bad the gun grabbing socialist politicians dont realize that, but hard facts do not motivate gun law passage, emotions and political agendas do.

sad but true
several weeks ago i saw a case of a man charged with possesion of a firearm by a felon...the dude got probation...no time.... you want to realy get down to where the rubber hits the road of why there is so many problems in this world look at the court system slapping everyone on the wrist and giving them probation insted of dropping the hammer on offenders.

Right on
Dang, CJ in Mont. You took the words right out of my mouth. Disarm the good law abiding people in this country so it will not be so hard for the crooks to rape, rob, and murder us.

All politics! All bull****! That is becoming the way of life in this country.

wth
A spokesperson for T-Mobile could not be reached for comment Monday night.

What would T-Mobile have to say about it. We're sorry we will do a better job at making smaller compartments.

What the hell lets get rid of everything that would likely hurt someone and then everyone would be equal. Thats what the goverment wants anyway.

weapons/cell phones
Bravo to the writer of "weapons"!!! Lets look at better training, maybe some common sense in these already risky situations would be more valuable than "controlling" every day items because someone learned how to make it into a weapon. Hell, stick a #2 into a sharpener and you have a deadly weapon. So, lets outlaw pencils, RIGHT!!!

This is by far the most pointless article I've read in a long time. At least it made the head line in my email. Don't they have someone who actually reads these articles before posting them on the website? This could've been followed up by the article, "Ice Is Cold!"

By the way, I couldn't have said it better myself CJ.

To Rojo 7
As retarded as this article is, it has a very sinister agenda. To justify more and more shootings of unarmed suspects by cops. As in:

"The officer shot the suspect because the suspect held a cell phone and the officer felt it might have been converted to a stun gun or a fire arm, therefore the officer was justified to act in self-defense."

That's the idea here. Everything can be a weapon, therefore a cop is never wrong executing anyone for any reason. Some cops are ahead of others in this BS, but the champions have attacked from behind and killed a "suspect" because he was holding a "deadly" plastic soda bottle.
