Manhunt on for 12 Florida Fugitives

Police statewide are on the hunt for 12 of the state's oldest and most violent prison escapees.

On Monday the Florida Department of Law Enforcement and the Florida Department of Corrections announced their 12 Days of Fugitives program.

Over the next 12 days the state is featuring a different fugitive every day with the hopes of finally nabbing the men.

First one up is 62-year-old Robert Baldwin. He was convicted of kidnapping and attempted murder charges. Baker escaped from the Baker Correction Institution in the panhandle in 1988.

If you have a a tip on his whereabouts you can call 1-877-FLA-WANTED (1-877-352-9268). You can also send an e-mail to FLAWanted@fdle.state.fl.us.

Tipsters are eligible for a reward of up to $2,500.

WOW, HOW EMBARRASSING, EXACT REASON WHY FLORIDA IS THE BIGGEST DUMP, WHAT OTHER STATE HAS 12 OR MORE ESCAPEES OUT IN SOCIETY... i GUESS COMMIT A CRIME IN FL GET ARRESTED AND JUST WALK OUT THE FRONT DOOR OF THE POLICE STATION/CORRECTIONAL INSTITUTE....

12 violent fugitives on the loose and the first one they're looking for escaped in 1988?! We just had one escapee in SE Texas and we had special teams working 'round the clock to capture him, which they did yesterday.

At least they're trying.. I guess..
