dead thug
""Walker, 49, often asked people not to linger on the stoop, said James, whose district includes the neighborhood, home to actress Rosie Perez and rapper-actor Mos Def.""

- apparently he "asked" the officer by first smacking him in the head. Then punching him when he stood up.

There's a right way to ask someone to leave then there's this way. Had he just asked him/told him to leave, he probably would of left or, based on Walkers attitude, "badged" the guy and gave him a limited explanation of why he was there.

Sorry for the familys loss, but people who are "good person(s) at heart", dont slap others in the head THEN ask them to leave. Do stuff the right way and you may be surprised. The whole New York "tough guy" aggressive attitude doesnt always work.

Before sjanc and mo-reece for governor can spew their hate filled anti po-leece rants....suk it! and dont waste your time!

James, a Brooklyn Democrat, told reporters the discrepancy between the police account and the family's account "raises some serious questions in my mind."

Typical new york city politician, her minds already made up, don't try to confuse her with any facts. The neighborhood of notorious big, mos def, no one should be surprised.

NYPD
After he slapped and punched the Officer, he jumped the officer and they wrestled for the gun. If you still continue a fight with someone who is armed with a firearm, and you get shot or killed, you cannot claim to be a victim when you landed the first blow.

This case has nothing to do with Kreca, but since sjanc brought it up...... here is a hint to "all blacks, ex-cons and or white professionals"..... comply with the officers. If it was illegal/unreasonable to stop you....go get your attorney and continue using oxygen. The reasonableness of the stop doesn't have to satisfy YOU for it to be deemed lawful. It is determined by what the Officer reasonably believes to be going on at the time.
Here is a tidbit of what sjanc illogically injected into the discussion.

"SAN DIEGO A patrolman acted within the law when he fatally shot a pedestrian who allegedly tried to pull a gun while being detained in Sorrento Mesa, District Attorney Bonnie Dumanis concluded in a ruling released Monday.

Mr. Kreca replied saying, 'No, you're not going to do that,' Dumanis wrote. According to Officer Fleming, he said, 'Let me go; I want to leave,' and began struggling with the officers

Fourteen expended shell casings were found under a bridge near where the officers had first spotted Kreca. Investigators concluded that Kreca's gun had fired the shots."

Since sjanc seems to cluster all officers into "typical idiot cop" "cops lie all the time" mold...... it would be obvious to anyone that he fosters an ill will to all officers and would subject anyone that knows him to his truths. Based on this, I would suggest to all Officers, that the next stop you make, you very well could be stopping sjanc or his type, handle accordingly....

Now, as stupid as that sounds, that is the same ignorant mentality that sjanc spews.......

You have a nice day.....

And that means what exactly?! Shooting me? Good luck. I don't have to put up with that crap anymore as I am not in the US. As to the rules of engagement that cops declared on "civilians", don't you worry, they will eventually make a circle back and start applying to cops as well. Out of uniform cops already are executing other out of uniform cops on a whim, in case you missed it.

As to Kreca, yes, there is no videotape, but the BS coming from cop report is just making any LOGICAL person noxious.

The report claims Kreca consented to pat down but then resisted the pat down and supposedly tried to shoot the cop with unloaded gun. To "defend himself" the cop pulled the trigger on the gun that was pressed to Kreca's chest. The reason Kreca would never consent to any search is because not so long beforehand he was beat up by San Diego cops who then charged HIM with assault. He managed to win that case.

Taught by that experience, Kreca simply decided never even talk to cops no matter what. That's what caused the whole thing. Most likely, Kreca simply told them to *censored* off and they jumped and shot him because they assumed only some "felon" wouldn't like cops. The rest is PERJURY and these pigs are going to rot in hell for murdering him.

Similar idiot cop pulled a gun on me and almost shot me because I was not a thief trying to steal my own car (which I described in detail before).

You are so predictable
And that means what exactly?! ----

It means you are so predictable to jump to conclusions, as I knew you would not read "everything" I wrote, such as

You mess with the bull you get the horns. Plain and simple. Sjanc is an all too common person we run into out on the streets. Keep up the good work and don't let someone like that get under your skin.

sjanc
Sjanc-
thats what you dont get. Your dead buddy Kreca did not HAVE to consent to a Terry stop/frisk. He was doing something illegal, (shooting off a gun in public), and he was seen in the area. The offcier, being a good one, realized that Kreca most likely was the shooter and conducted a search for weapons.
Sorry your buddy was actually dumb enough to resist....it's been said on here before..fight in court not on the street, cuz youre gonna lose.
You should start hanging out with smarter people....like ones who dont blow 14 rounds in public for no reason whatsoever...go to a shooting range.
What country do you live in now?

I have been a police officer for 16 years. Eight of it as a narcotics detective. My department has about 1,400 sowrn LEO's.

Working surveillance can be as dangerous as working UC. As a surveillance officer you usually don't have a partner with you. However, there are typically other surveillance officers in the area.

I have had the unpleasant experience(s) of Joe Citizen approaching my vehicle and tapping on the window inquiring to the nature of my business. Ususally I tell them I am waiting for someone. I never want to reveal what I am doing due to the fact that one telephone call from a nosey Citizen to others can jeopardize an operation.

However, I have been forced to identify myself for safety reasons.

A few years back a Citizen approached my vehicle with a firearm. I placed him into custody. He was lucky that night.

I am only providing this bit of information because plenty of Citizens respond to the blogs on this site without having a clue to what police officers actually do and the service(s) we provide to keep them safe. If you think you can do a better job, meet the requirements to become a police officer and are willing to put it on the line each and everyday...then apply. If not, shut the *&%& up and let us do our jobs!

You grab a tiger by its tail you better have a plan for its teeth.
