The Jackson saga
Personally, I'm quite sorry Mr. Jackson has passed on. With that said, I believe the city of LA has no choice but to up the ante so to speak. While I'm certain the city can ill afford this, they really have no choice since the memorial is going to be at the Staples Center. I'd like to think the police will have everyone on duty to keep the city up and running. After all, people who may not be interested in the memorial still need to go about their business day and the like. As far as people being advised to stay away unless they have their tickets/wristbands, don't count on it. It's going to be a mob scene and frankly MJ will be smiling from above. The crush of gawkers and the press will be unbelievable. The hot dog and t-shirt vendors alone will be on every corner. People will be arriving from around the world so the city will be getting an influx of cash from those spending on hotels, food, rental cars and so on. The police should be used to the hoopla since LA is home to the Academy Awards.
Since Michael's mother is now in charge of his affairs, send the bill to her at Havenhurst. Good luck on collecting payment, you'll need it.

The Jackson Riots!!!
Attn LAPD: Set your batons to "Dazed & Confused" When the scumbags can't get in because they have no tickets they will start rioting. You'll see 100,000+ people jumping over barricades pushing to get inside. EVERY time this type of situation arises it turns into a riot because people are sick animals, can't behave, can't control themselves and just want an opportunity to go against the "White Man". Get ready for the lawsuits L.A., you asked for it.

No loss to the world
Jackson was a pedophile and a whack !!! Where was all of this outpouring for his victims. He may of skated in Santa Barbara, but he paid off atleast one time before and was guilty as sin. As far as L.A. County paying for this, good luck I'm affraid the city is stuck with this bill. Even though the cost will come out of a special budget, lets see the Jackson's step up to the bar and help pay for this circus. I would rather of seen the money for this going towards something else.

I wont miss Jackson at all, in fact I'm glad he is gone, just one less from that dysfuntional family.

What I like about California most (since I don't have to be there and pay for it)
is that even cops will soon be paid in un-redeemable IOU-s. The last referendums were the best comedy. Da people voted for increasing spending, increasing "services" and decreasing taxes. ;) ;) And even the Chinese are now not stupid enough to loan more money.

Serves them right. There is nothing BAD that can happen to Commiefornia that Commiefornia does not deserve.

I see nice riots coming when it becomes obvious that there are no pies in the sky, no money to pay for welfare recipients, activists, government workers, cops and other bums.
