INDIANAPOLIS -- An Indianapolis police officer was injured in a collision with another car on the city's northwest side early Thursday morning. The officer was sent to help another officer with a chase at about 3 a.m. when he hit another car at 38th Street and Lafayette Road. The officer, whose identity wasn't released, was taken to Methodist Hospital in good condition. The other driver was treated and released.
