I have to assume they mean he'll wear a bulletproof vest, probably Dragon Skin. It's funny though that they'd phrase it in such an unusual way, "bullet-resistant clothing."

There actually is bullet resistant clothing made in Bogota, Colombia... it was on Discovery channel. I still would prefer my Kevlar though...

It is good they are protecting Obama very well from idiots who have previously ruined the chances of America actually becoming good. I wish Obama a LONG and successful journey through his presidency and his life. I am glad they are going over the top to keep him safe.

~extremely proud Obama supporter =)

Freedom of speech
I didn't vote for Obama but I sincerely hope that he can pull this off. I believe in our system and the people have made a choice. NOW, that being said, Mike, and A very happy Obama supporter" (not living in the USA ) -by the way means nothing. Get off your soap box and grow up, you had your vote/choice and not everyone will agree with it. Deal with it as we will -This (blog) is called freedom of speech and evryone has that right.

african american ?????????????????
I agree with the German American. I'm a white middle aged man which was born in MOZAMBIQUE. I would bet that most of those so called African Americans don't even know where that country is. So what does that make me? By the way MOZAMBIQUE is in southeast AFRICA.

I don't think it matters if your Black, White, Green or Yellow... We are all americans, and if you want to say your aferican american, go for it. I don't understand why it would bother anybody... I hope Obama will be our greatest president ever. We need a good leader.
