MILWAUKEE
--
A former Milwaukee police officer already in federal prison for his role in the beating of Frank Jude Jr. at a Bay View house party pleaded guilty to bail jumping charges.
Jon Bartlett entered the plea Tuesday afternoon.
A judge then sentenced him to six years in prison. He will serve those concurrently with the 17 years he is serving for the Jude beating.
Bartlett was charged with bail jumping after reportedly trying to buy guns and lying on the applications.
At that time he was awaiting trial for phoning in a bomb threat to his police district.
