While they are often misused, this is a case where deployment of multiple taser cycles would have been justified.

Less lethal force equal to threat against officers and the public.

This is a call where animal control should have been dispatched with a catch pole.

Cop hurt fighting a perp? If I get hurt fighting someone, that someone better have more serious injuries than me when the fight is over. Taser. Firearm. Whatever it takes.
