everybody these days likes to jump on the police brutality ban-wagon! has anybody thought to ask the officer himself what happened, or what happened in the 30 seconds before the video camera was turned on? police officers should have more respect from the community. they have a hard enough job as it is!

Well, let's see here:

The police are arresting someone for WHATEVER reason.

The Code Pink protester in question won't back up as instructed by the police on scene.

As the limited angle of the camera shows a few seconds later, she seems to be the ONLY person nearby who won't comply with the order to back up (aside from the press but they're "protected".....just ask Christina Gonzalez from Fox 11 L.A.)

Then she is heard confronting the officer by saying, "F-ing do it again!"

The officer pushes her back and she falls to the ground.

She should get an award for playing up that fall to the ground too, because she seems to be just fine when giving her "statement" to the cameras later.

About the only problem I can see/hear is that it seems the officer calls the protestor the "B" word after pushing her back.

Oh well, verbal counseling at best.

One thing for sure........EVERTHING law enforcement does at the DNC will be photographed or recorded in some manner. Law enforcement should have an entire crew of people doing their own videotaping anytime there is even the potential for interaction with these knucklehead protest groups. At least then they will have their oen evidence to rely on.........good or bad. And I don't condone bad but I certainly don't want good officer's facing false accusations.

Just goes to show, everthing officers do now is subject to video/audio recording. It's the world we live in. Not here to pass judgement, some citizens are idiots, and some cops take things personally and act accordingly. Neither situation should occur, but it does happen. I couldn't say what the situation was in this circumstance, but having spent 20 years in law enforcement, 11 as a cop, I would remind all my brothers and sisters in blue that we live in a new age of media coverage...acting professinally and safely is always our best bet and our best defense

36 seconds of tape that obviously doesn't show what led to the use of force (and something did or she wouldn't have said do it again) is nowhere near enough to make any kind of judgement on the legality of the use of force.

With as many cameras as were seen on the tape, someone had to capture more of the incident.

Looking for it
This lady was looking to be a news story. With a championship flop, she got waht she wanted. It was a total setup by her.

Do you think there may be a reason that the owner of the video only released 30 odd seconds of it? I would wager that the reason is because the 30 seconds that were filmed prior to what was released justifies the officers actions, thereby making this turds video worthless. The media, bringing you the story the way they wish it happened.

More tape
Of course there is more tape, in all probability showing the protester acting in such a way as to justify the low level of force used. As for the b word, officers are entitled to displaying emotion at least once in a while, they all are human.

Towards the end of the clip you can hear someone yell at the Officer 'What the Hell is wrong with you?!' - Im thinking it was that other cop in the top left corner of the screen - around :20 seconds into it. Might not of been, but oh well..

I bet she won't tell another Officer to do that again.
