WTF is this? The guy deliberately steered into an officer? Then, what happened? The guy was going to hit an officer! What was he going to do?

This thug cop deserves to be prosecuted.
It is no wonder that charges were dropped against Long. I saw the video and he never swerved into Pogan. That thug roughed Long up and lied about it. Shameful. It makes it hard for the 99% of decent cops that now have to deal with the lies of people like Pogan.

The cop should get 25 to life for what he did. We have send people to prison for long periods of time for stealing like a slice of pizza items even though it was their first offense.

Get a life citizens
This really disgusts me. Im sick of seeing and listening to these no name citizens who patronize the police. police use excessive fore, give me a break, the police do whats needed to take a suspect into custody. Give the police back there powers and let them do the job that you people only dream about doing, but cant get hired.

Did you watch the video?
Did anyone who is making a claim that the officer was justified really see the video? I can't say what happened off camera but we all need to be careful of our actions in very public situations. There could have been a good reason for the bodycheck. I didn't see one. There was no clear attempt to hit the officer with the bike.

What are you talking about?!?!?! Who, in the history of the American Justice System, has ever gone to Prison for a "long period of time" for stealing a "slice of Pizza items"? What in God's creation are you talking about?

I don't mind objecting opinions, but my God son, make it sound somewhat educated.

If you watch the video backwards, it looks like the officer if trying to help him off the ground. Case closed.

When I have to court, this video will be exhibit A. Argument will be all cops lie and abuse their power. Cops have set a precident.

Embarrasment
As a police officer that has viewed the video several times, that was totally uncalled for. Here in VA you bet your butt that officer would have been charged with assault and fired due to his integrity issue. I know cops are suppose to stick together, but damn this makes us all look like chumps.
