???
Youre an idiot. Obviously the officers were acting on good faith that there was someone possibly injured inside.

They did not need a warrant because it fell under exigent circumstances. As far as the door, I say the owner of the bird should replace it, not the police.

Your stupid comments show your lack of intelligence and maturity.

Where do I start?

First off, just because I reside in Florida, does not mean that I am from Cuba. That's ridiculous and racist.

Secondly, the cops were not wrong. They did their job. Besides, if they were held responsible, the department would pay for it, not the individual officer.

Sounds like someone has a problem with the police perhaps?

This will be my last post. I refuse to continue this petty argument with someone who has the immaturity of a 3rd grader.

The Bird
How 'bout a nice kitty cat for the bird to play with? That'll keep her quiet and prevent the cops from busting down anymore doors over there!

You should think twice about spreading shame to these police officers. The next time they here screaming coming from a apartment and do not kick in the door and it is your mother getting gang banged I m sure you wont feel the same way.

Those Officers were right and shouldnt face anymore negative comments

I agree with R and J. If there was a real person injured in that home, would you actually care if your door was destroyed if your health/life was in jeopardy? It was a perfectly legitimate act of good will. It's not like they broke down the door just for the fun of it. They did it to help someone in trouble, only to find a bird imitating a human's call for help.

bird call
sounds like birdlover's proper name should be "BIRDBRAIN"! That is about the stupidest, most ignorant argument I've heard in a while! Let me guess...you're one of those "I know my rights" citizens who thinks they do becuase they've seen CSI or Law and Order. Worse yet there is no telling you otherwise either despite the fact that the person telling you is a trained LEO whose job it is to know your rights!!!!!!! Make an educated arguement because you look like an IDIOT if you don't!

If a frog had wings he wouldn't bump his @ss everytime he jumped.

They acted in good faith, were wrong about their "assumption" and should pay

simple acception of responsibility for their actions

sorry your parents didn't teach you kids this concept growing up

and off. armpit, I know my rights very well. it's that kind of cocky mentality that you think no citizen knows their rights which fuels the anti-police mentality in this country

hopefully it puts you where you belong one day, behind bars being some guy's girlfriend

The moron Bird Lover
Bird Lover is clearly an immature fool who has a great deal of trouble with authority figures. Not only police, but also his teachers at school - I safely assume he is still in high school.
No problem with his argument about police paying for the door, but what exceptional immaturity in referring to the police as "douchebag pigs." What an absolute moron!!

Ah, the old "trouble with authority" argument. Haven't heard that one before (lol).

Pull your head out of your sgt's lap scooter

RESPONSIBILITY FOR ONE'S ACTIONS SHALL SET YOU FREE!

Bird lover. I get much enjoyment listening to people like yourself talk over the internet. The officers shouldn't pay for anything. The woman who owns the bird should treat it like a child and not allow it to watch to much television, so it cannot learn cries for help.
